Bed rest for more than 2-3 days is not advised. For acute back pain, brief rest is fine — but long-term bed rest weakens back muscles, making recovery harder. We advise patients to move about gently after a few days. Lifting heavy weights should be avoided until pain is completely gone.
Lumbar belts should only be used for short periods or acute injuries. Wearing them constantly weakens back muscles over time and makes the spine stiffer. Our treatment goal is to strengthen your muscles — not rely on a belt permanently.
Most migraine patients can live a completely normal, pain-free life with the right treatment. Identifying your headache type is crucial since treatments differ. Alongside medicines, lifestyle changes like regular sleep, avoiding fasting, and limiting bright sun exposure make a huge difference.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) therapy uses your own blood to promote natural healing — it's minimally invasive with mild discomfort at most. Most patients need 2-3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart, depending on the condition. Significant improvement is usually seen within 4-6 weeks of the first session.

A nerve block is an injection of medication around or near specific nerves to interrupt pain signals. It provides quick and targeted pain relief for conditions like sciatica, back pain, and neck pain. The procedure is done under local anaesthesia and takes 15-30 minutes.
Most patients begin to feel improvement within 1-2 weeks after interventional procedures. PRP therapy may take 4-6 weeks for full effect. Every patient is different, and Dr. Tyagi will give you a realistic timeline during your consultation.
Yes, our treatments are minimally invasive and safe for patients of all ages, including the elderly. We carefully assess each patient's overall health before recommending any procedure. Many of our patients are 60+ years old.
